The health Infortmation System Working Group (HISWG), formed in 2002, serves as a technical platform fo ethnic and community-based health organizations to fill critical gaps in health data in conflict-affected and under-resourced regions in Eastern and Western Burma. Its mission is to have a future where reliable and coordinatred health information supports effective planning , accountability, and health equity for every person in ethnic and border areas. HISWG collaborated closedly with its member organizations to enhance data quality, support informed strategic health decision-making, and promote health equity through evidence-based apporaches.
Health Information System Working Group (HISWG) is a network of ethnic health organizations working to strengthen health information systems in conflict-affected areas of Burma/Myanmar.
